Packing Jobs in Europe with Visa Sponsorship

Packing is the lowest-barrier role in the whole catalogue: no trade, no certificate, no language. That also makes it the most competitive, and the one most often used as bait by fake agencies.

What the job is actually like

Almost every packing vacancy in Europe is filled through an agency rather than by the plant directly. That is not automatically bad, but it means your contract may be with a company you have never heard of, not with the brand on the building.

Food-sector packing usually requires a health certificate (zdravotní průkaz in Czechia). It is cheap and quick, but you cannot start without it.

Pay is at or slightly above the statutory minimum in most cases. What moves the number is the shift premium — nights and weekends — not the base rate.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need experience for packing work in Europe?

No. You are trained on site, normally within the first week. What matters is that you can sustain a full shift on your feet.

Who is my employer — the plant or the agency?

Ask, and get it in writing. Much of European shop-floor work is staffed through agencies, and your contract may be with a company whose name is not on the building. That is legal and common, but it changes who owes you what — and the pay gap between an agency rate and a plant rate is often 20–30%.

What does the pay figure on this page mean?

It is the Czech national median for this occupation from the state ISPV wage survey, shown gross with the quartile spread. The first quartile is what a newcomer realistically starts on; the third is what an experienced worker on a good site reaches. We use the state survey rather than job adverts because adverts systematically overstate.

Can this role be posted to Germany or the Netherlands?

Once you hold a Czech employee card and an established employment relationship, yes — your employer can post you on an A1 certificate. It is not available on day one, and any agency promising a German posting from the start is describing something that does not exist.

What do you charge me?

Nothing. Czech law prohibits an employment agency charging a candidate for finding work; the employer pays us. Your own costs — consular fee, legalisation, medical, flight — are on our fees page.
