What we collect, and why
| Data | Why we need it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, date of birth, nationality, passport details | Required on the employee card application. Without them there is no application. | Steps prior to entering a contract, and legal obligation |
| Phone number and WhatsApp messages | The channel you contacted us through, and the record of what was agreed | Steps prior to entering a contract |
| Work history, trade certificates, diplomas | Matching you to a vacancy and evidencing qualification to the employer | Steps prior to entering a contract |
| Criminal record certificate, medical certificate | Mandatory attachments to the permit application | Legal obligation |
| Page views and clicks on this site, in aggregate | Understanding which pages are useful. No profiling, no advertising. | Consent |
Criminal record and medical certificates are special-category or sensitive in several jurisdictions. We request them only when an application is actually being filed, we do not request them to start a conversation, and we do not keep them once the application is decided.
Who we share it with
- The employer you are applying to — the parts needed to make and support the offer.
- Czech authorities — the Ministry of the Interior, the Labour Office and the embassy handling your application. This is the point of the exercise.
- Nobody else. We do not sell candidate data, we do not pass it to other agencies, and we do not share it with anyone offering related services.
Where it goes
Your data is processed in the Czech Republic. Where you contact us over WhatsApp, that message is also processed by Meta under its own terms, which we do not control — that is worth knowing before you send documents through it. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, write to us by email instead and we will work that way.
How long we keep it
- If you enquire and nothing follows: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- If an application is filed: for the duration of the process plus the period Czech law requires an employment agency to retain records.
- Documents supporting a filed application — criminal record, medical: deleted once the application is decided and the retention period for the file itself has run.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, ask us to restrict it, and receive it in a portable format. Write to the address we will publish once the entity is registered and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), and you do not need to raise it with us first.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and clicks on the contact buttons, so we can tell which pages actually help people. Nothing there identifies you, and it is not used to build a profile.
One thing we will not do
We will never ask you to send your original passport anywhere, and we will never ask for a payment to us for finding you work — Czech law prohibits it. If you receive a message that looks like it comes from us and asks for either, it is not from us. Check our licence number in the public register and contact us on the number published on this site.
