About the plant
Lidl runs several distribution centres in Czechia. Buštěhrad near Kladno, opened in early 2021 on the brownfield of the former Poldi steelworks, is one of the largest in Lidl's European network: about 60,000 m², of which 20,000 is temperature-controlled, built for 2.5 billion Kč and serving up to 90 stores.
Bravantice in the Moravian-Silesian region opened in autumn 2024 — 38,500 m², up to 300 jobs, serving 52 stores directly and optimising deliveries to nearly 320 nationwide. It handles up to 950 orders a day with roughly 20 lorries by day and 25 at night.
What it pays
Lidl publishes warehouse pay in its own adverts, which is unusual for the sector, and has raised wages five years running.

| Alternative advert | 34,100 Kč plus up to 8,400 Kč |

| Meal contribution | 110 Kč/day |
| Cafeteria points | 400 per month |
| Pension contribution after 1 year | 500 Kč/month |
Holiday is 30 days from the first day of employment — well above the statutory minimum.

Can a foreign worker get in here?
Lidl publishes no data on foreign employment at its distribution centres, and none was found in the press. The 2,200 applications for warehouse roles at Bravantice suggest the company has no difficulty filling positions locally — which usually means little incentive to recruit from outside the EU.
No evidence of foreign recruitment. High local demand for the jobs. Treat as unlikely for a first placement.

If you are already legally resident in Czechia, yes — apply on the company careers page. From outside the EU it is much harder, because a direct application rarely covers employee card sponsorship, and that is the part an agency arranges.
