Europe Job Consultancy in Ahmedabad

Factory, warehouse and skilled trade work in the Czech Republic, with an onward route into Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. We charge candidates nothing, because Czech law does not let us — and on this page we have written down what the process from Ahmedabad actually involves, including the parts that are inconvenient for us.

The one thing to know before you talk to anybody in Ahmedabad. The Czech VFS Global centres in India accept short-stay Schengen visas only — up to 90 days. An employee card is a long-stay application and cannot be filed there. It goes to the Czech Embassy in New Delhi on a separate appointment system. Any consultant in Ahmedabad telling you they will file your work permit at the local VFS centre is describing a process that does not exist. And the second thing, which is the answer to the first

Filing goes through the government economic-migration programme, and programme places are allocated to employers rather than to individuals. That is why you cannot book a Delhi appointment on your own however much you are willing to pay for one — and why anyone in Ahmedabad offering you a personal appointment is describing something that does not exist.

We place at volume and file through the programme across the whole allocation year rather than in one rush, so in practice the allocation has not been what stops our candidates. Timing is what matters: places are finite and taken in order, so applying early in the year is materially different from applying late. We will tell you where the year stands before you spend anything on documents.

How an application from Ahmedabad actually runs

StepWhere it happensRoughly how long
Vacancy registered and held open for the Czech and EU labour marketCzechia — the employer's job, not yours30 days
Contract or binding job promise issued to youRemoteDays
Documents legalised by apostilleIndia — a Hague Convention member, so apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs, not consular legalisation1–3 weeks
Police clearance certificatePassport Seva network1–3 weeks
Employee card application filed in personCzech Embassy, New Delhi — not Ahmedabad, and not at VFSOne appointment
Ministry of the Interior decisionCzechia6–12 weeks, statutory
Biometrics, card collection, travelDelhi, then Czechia2–3 weeks

Note the shape of this: the longest steps belong to the state, and no agency anywhere can compress them. What an agency can do is make sure nothing is filed wrong — a rejected application costs you the fee and the calendar both.

Emigration paperwork on the Indian side

Gujarat has no office of the Protector of Emigrants. Applications from Ahmedabad are handled by the Mumbai office at Videsh Bhawan, Bandra-Kurla Complex.

Gujarat's state body, the Non-Resident Gujaratis Foundation, is built around relations with the settled diaspora — identity cards, tourism, business guidance. It is not an outbound-worker welfare agency, and it does not offer the pre-departure orientation, insurance or grievance channel that a Kerala or Punjab emigrant has. Worth knowing before you assume someone official is watching. NRI Division, Government of Gujarat

We did not find a state emigrant welfare body for Gujarat offering pre-departure orientation, insurance or a grievance channel of the kind Kerala and Punjab run. The absence is worth knowing either way: it means there is no state-level backstop if something goes wrong.

What the fraud looks like in Ahmedabad

One Gujarat case names the Czech Republic directly. Five Surat residents paid ₹22.81 lakh between them for European work-permit visas quoted at ₹6.5 lakh each; the promised destination moved from Lithuania to the Czech Republic to Singapore to Fiji as the paperwork failed, and the applicants were ultimately deported. Separately, in November 2024 an Ahmedabad consultant took ₹12 lakh from a single applicant for a hotel job in Finland, obtaining his original documents and a signed blank cheque, then sending a forged offer letter and a forged Finnish residence permit over WhatsApp — the Finnish embassy confirmed both were fake.

The pattern, stripped down

Almost every case in the record runs the same way: an unregistered consultancy advertises on social media, collects your passport and a large advance, sends a forged offer letter or visa as an image over WhatsApp, then stops answering. The two checks that break this chain cost nothing — verify the agent on the Ministry of External Affairs register, and never let your original passport out of your hands without a receipt.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Ahmedabad?

No, and we would rather say so than rent a room to look local. We work with candidates from Ahmedabad remotely. The steps that require you in person are the medical, the document legalisation and the embassy appointment in Delhi — none of them happen at an agency office. Be wary of anyone who insists you come in and pay in cash.

Can I apply at the VFS centre in Ahmedabad?

Not for this. The Czech VFS Global centres in India process short-stay Schengen visas of up to 90 days. An employee card is a long-stay application and cannot be filed there — it goes through the Czech Embassy in New Delhi on a separate appointment system. Whatever city you live in, that trip is part of the process.

What do you charge?

Nothing for the placement. Czech law prohibits an employment agency from charging a candidate a fee for finding them work — we are paid by the employer. Your own costs are the consular fee, document legalisation, the medical certificate and the flight, and they are itemised on our fees page before you commit to anything.

Which jobs can I get from here?

Warehouse, packing, sorting and production line roles need no experience — 8 of our 20 current openings are in that group. Welding, CNC and CE driving need a certificate. See the current intake.

How long does it take?

Ten to sixteen weeks from signed contract to first shift, of which six to twelve weeks is the Czech Ministry of the Interior decision. Nobody can shorten that part, and an agency promising you four weeks is describing something other than an employee card.

How do I check that an agency is real?

Two registers, both free and both public. In India, the Ministry of External Affairs lists every licensed Recruiting Agent at mea.gov.in/ras and on eMigrate. In Czechia, employment agency licences are checkable in the public register held by the Ministry of Labour. Check both before any money moves — our own numbers are in the footer of every page on this site.

What if I have already paid someone and it went wrong?

Tell us what happened — it changes which documents you will need and whether your passport is compromised. Our guide on fake agencies covers what to do if you have already paid, and we will look at the paperwork you were given whether or not you end up working with us.

Have an offer from another consultancy in Ahmedabad?

Send us what they gave you — the offer letter, the visa image, the fee schedule. We will tell you whether it makes sense, free, and whether or not you end up working with us. It takes ten minutes and it has saved people several lakh.
